I use many of these sites already but I am definitely saving up for some gift cards for the Holiday season! I didn’t know coinstar didn’t charge a fee if you opted to receive a gift card instead. Works for me

Great job!
Mrs. Picky Pincher says
I have MyPoints connected to my BzzAgent account, and I’ve been able to score some Restaurant.com gift certificates that way. It’s not really a time-efficient way to save money, but if you happen to have a lot of time on your hands and you’re bored, it’s a good way to get a little bit of pocket change.

Yes, definitely!

I love earning amazon giftcards. In fact, I’ve made over $100 selling on amazon’s trade in!
I wrote a whole step-by-step post about it too: http://www.andthekitchensink.net/earned-120-amazon-credit/
Another good way to earn Amazon Giftcards is by using the app Receipt Hog.
Michelle Schroeder-Gardner says
Great job!
BreAnna says
I use Receipt Hog as well!! It’s a great app, it’s just very time consuming to getting to a decent amount for a Amazon Gift card!
Josh says
I have got to get on the Ibotta train! Getting money for things you’re already buying is always a win! Also, thanks for pointing out that coinstar will give you gift cards instead of cash to avoid paying the fees. Good to know!
Many of these options have made me money over the past couple of years. Any of them are great choices!
Thanks for sharing!
Michelle Schroeder-Gardner says
Thanks!

Hi Michelle,
Great list! I would like to add a totally passive way of earning Amazon gift card to this list. I have earned $187 this far using this method.
If you use Cross Media Panel (formerly used to be Screenwise Trends), owned by Google, to monitor your browsing behavior, you could earn $3 per week, and claim an Amazon gift card once you reach $5 $10, or $25 earning threshold.
If anyone would like to learn how, you can read my post – http://stretchadime.com/earn-passive-income-from-google/

Swagbucks is indeed a legit way to have free gift cards. Another one is MooCash – an Android app where users earn points by unlocking their phone and later on exchange these points to gift checks, free talktime, free recharge and even paypal withdrawals! Thanks for the tips!

Don’t forget Bing (now Microsoft Rewards). Make them your default search engine and you’ll be awarded points every time you search. You can redeem them for Amazon gift codes in $5 increments.

I’ve been using Swagbucks for years. It’s a great company!
pera says
All these tools are extremely time consuming. Survey-points websites can help you to make 2 dollars per hour (maybe). It would be nice to have some real nice tips, instead of the usual affiliate links(which I understand it’s your business)
Michelle Schroeder-Gardner says
I use a lot of these companies. While you definitely won’t get rich, if you have extra time it can add up nicely.
Lisa says
I totally agree with Michelle, she did say that this will not get you rich or even replace your income. BUT it is a great way to save on things you would have purchased anyway with little effort.
I have been doing things like this for years to fund my holiday gift giving. I complete simple tasks whenever I can throughout the year. I let my account balances build up then I cash out a few months before the holidays.
It certainly relieves the pressure and expense during the holidays!!
Jayson @ Monster Piggy Bank says
Yay! There are so many sources of amazon gift cards. I think after trying these out, I am gonna many gift cards. Thanks Michelle.
Lisa says
Receipt Hog is another good one. Also Bing Rewards might also provide Amazon gift cards.
Lisa says
Don’t forget Amazon Mechanical Turk. I’ve used it successfully to earn cash but you can also earn Amazon gift cards. Receipt Hog is also a great place for earning Amazon gift cards.
Timothy Haney says
Lisa, there is no link on #12. Just an FYI if you have an affiliate link
Sandro says
And once again I’m disappointed to just find offers that don’t help me, nearly all of the articles and blogs are just counting ways which are unusable if you are outside of the US. Most of this sites either don’t accept ppl from Europe or like Prizerebel don’t give me even the chance to get more then a few points!
Kebin son says
Furthermore, by and by I’m frustrated to simply discover offers that don’t help me, about the greater part of the articles and web journals are simply checking ways which are unusable on the off chance that you are outside of the US. The vast majority of this locales either don’t acknowledge ppl from Europe or like Prizerebel don’t allow me even to get all the more then a couple of focuses!
Alejandra says
Thanks for sharing this information, I didn’t know about it, I will start working on it.
I agree with Michelle also, this will not make me rich, but it’s an option to do on my free time.
Allyce says
Perks! If you have extra devices that can connect to wi-fi, you can run Perks on all of them. There are several apps for ios and android each. Earn all types of gift cards, but I stick to Amazon.
Patty says
I think, best is eRewards and I am surprised as it has missed from his list. Bing Rewards comes to next. I am happy to see suggestion about Coinstar
Amanda says
Another good survey site is quickthoughts. If you have an android phone you get amazon gift cards but if you have a iphone I heard you can get itunes gift cards. I have made over $100 on this app answering surveys. They give you $3 per completed survey and 10 cent for unqualified surveys.
Garrett Sherwood says
There was a time when Swagbucks was good. Now they will kick you off very quickly if they don’t like your browsing habits (to frequent of searches).
Ashley Logsdon says
Just signed up for Schwagbucks! Another thing – this isn’t for Amazon cards, but helping to save money…the Honey and eBates extensions are GREAT – I’ve saved a ton just by the coupons and savings these pull whenever I purchase. Thanks for this list to add a few more ideas!
DNN says
I might have to give Swagbucks a closer look for increasing “side hustle millionaire” income potential.
Aaron says
If you travel a lot and use rental cars – you may want to check into Avis’ offer whereby they give Amazon customers 10% in a Amazon gift card when you go through their special offer page and 20% off (provided in a gift card offering) when you use Alexa to make the reservation. Great way to get extra savings and cash-back.
Jodie Wiggins says
i just the $100 amazon gift card not some other gift cards just $100 amazon gift
Andrew @ Fo says
