The holiday shopping season is here! I have partnered with Rakuten in today’s post. Today’s blog post will help you save money, and at the end there is also a $250 Visa giveaway too for you to easily join.

Do you have a lot of holiday shopping coming up?One Easy Way To Save This Holiday Shopping Season

Your answer is probably yes, and I’m not surprised!

The average person typically spends around $1,000 on gifts each year for the holidays. That is a lot of money!

One very easy way to save this holiday season is to get cash back on your holiday spending.

So, as you create your holiday spending budget, I recommend making sure that you remember to get cash back. While it won’t make you rich, it can help you save some easy money as you shop online.

Remember, the things that you will want to think about and maybe include in your holiday spending budget include:

  • Gifts
  • Transportation and travel costs (do you need to fly home?)
  • Food for parties and get togethers
  • Postage for any gifts and/or holiday cards
  • Greeting cards, holiday cards, etc.
  • Wrapping paper, tape, and so on
  • Decorations

And so on.

The cash back website that I recommend is Rakuten (this website used to be called Ebates). Sometimes I forget to use this website, and I hate when I miss getting free cash back.

I have been using Rakuten since 2013 and, for me, it is a no-brainer.

Whenever I shop online, I see if Rakuten will give me cash back on my purchase. It’s only a few simple clicks and takes less than a minute to use.

Rakuten is the largest Cash Back site which partners with over 2,500 of the largest name brands like Sephora, Target, Kohls, Old Navy, AT&T, American Eagle, and more to bring you cash Back and more…all for free. You just click through links found on Rakuten or use the browser extension and shop like you normally do to get cash back on everything you buy.

You may be wondering “What is Rakuten?” Below is a quick quote taken from their website:

“Since our founding in 1997, Rakuten has helped shape the way people shop online, offering Cash Back, deals and shopping rewards on the world’s largest selection of products and services. To date, our 12 million members in the U.S. have earned over $1 billion in Cash Back at their favorite stores.”

And, it’s actually that easy!

To figure out what percentage you will be earning for the cash back from your shopping, all you do is look at the percentage number next to the store name while you are on Rakuten’s website. They tell you the exact amount right there.

In order to get cash back through Rakuten, all you need to do is:

  • Sign up for your free Rakuten account
  • Click on whatever brand you are interested in shopping at. Or, you can type the store you are looking for in the search bar (as shown in the image above), and go directly to their website.
  • Next, you simply shop just like you normally would and you will earn cash back.

Yes, it is that easy.

There is no monthly fee, no fee that you have to pay Rakuten, or anything like that. It is absolutely free for you to use Rakuten.

You’ll also get a $40 Welcome Bonus after you join for free with my referral link and place your first purchase of $40 or more.

Also, Rakuten is co-hosting a $250 giveaway with me. Sign up for Rakuten using my referral link, and use the widget below to enter the giveaway. Good luck!
