Find out how to get freelancing jobs through FIVERR. #freelancingAs you all know, I am all about making extra money. I have many posts dedicated to making extra money and my life personally was changed by it.

Extra income can change your life too. It can help you pay off your debt a little more quickly, it can help you reach financial freedom, and more.

Recently, Kasai Media (a personal finance influencer network) contacted me and asked me if I wanted to take part in a Fiverr gigs side hustle challenge.

You know I had to say yes!

Fiverr is one company I have never really taken part in. I’ve, of course, heard of it, but I’ve never really done much with it.

Below is a quick excerpt from Kasai Media:

Side Hustle seems to be the phrase of 2015. We challenged twenty bloggers to see what they’re able to build, on the side, through the power of hard work and pure grit. With the help of Fiverr, watch as ten personal finance bloggers battle ten lifestyle bloggers to see who can build the best Side Hustle in the next 60 days.

Sounds like fun, right?

I’ve never provided Fiverr gigs, but I know that there are many people out there who are interested in possibly making extra money on Fiverr.

What is Fiverr?

Just in case you haven’t heard of Fiverr, I thought it would be a good idea to explain what it is.

Fiverr is an online marketplace where you can pay for tasks and products, as well as provide services and get paid by others. Services and products start at $5 and go up from there. Each service is called a “gig.”

There are many different types of Fiverr gigs. I’ve seen people sing songs for others, give advice, dance, do logo design, and more. There are some really quirky Fiverr gigs!

Fiverr coupon code.

I couldn’t write a post without including some sort of coupon code. You can use coupon code “MAKINGSENSE201512” to receive a free $5 gig if you are a new Fiverr user.

Plus, with this code, you can take up my Fiverr service for free!

The side hustle Fiverr challenge.

I was a little nervous (okay, I’m still nervous) to take part in this side hustle challenge. I wasn’t really sure what I would offer and I wasn’t sure what a good price would be so that the service would be valuable to many out there.

Over the next several weeks, I have decided that I will most likely offer several different gigs on Fiverr. My first Fiverr gig will be something I already sort of do.

I get asked many personal finance and blogging-related questions through email each and every single day. For my first Fiverr gig, I have decided that I will answer one blogging-related or finance-related question through email. Your question can be as big or small as you want – I would love to help! Plus, with the Fiverr coupon code above, it will be free!

Also, this side hustle challenge is a competition after all. If you go here, you can vote for your favorite side hustle. I would love some votes! 🙂

Are you interested in trying out Fiverr gigs or even being a Fiverr freelancer? Why or why not?

I am being compensated for participating in this challenge. However, all opinions and everything in this post are 100% what I believe in. Please enjoy the Fiverr coupon above!

I’ve considered adding Fiverr as another side hustle. It’s tricky to find something I can do of value that is worth $5, but won’t take up too much of my valuable time. Perhaps I will give it some more thought.

Yes, this is where I was stuck as well. However, it can be more than $5!

And you can always offer a base product and then add a bunch of upsells for more, like faster delivery, etc.

I’ve been on Fiverr for a couple years, but have only done two gigs. I’m thinking of going back to it, but like you, I’m wondering what I can offer, and how it can stand out from the crowd.

Good luck! I’m treating the $5 aspect as a warm up for my more expensive services that I will offer in the future.

I’ve only ever used Fiverr to hire someone else, I’ve never used it to offer services. I’ll be interested to see how this turns out for you Michelle. What an interesting experiment.

I joined Fiverr awhile back and I got a slew of requests at the beginning. I made about $75. But then the orders just stopped one day and I haven’t been able to figure out what to do about it…. But now I’ve found other side hustles so it’s not a big deal, but still. It’s kind of confusing.

Fiverr is really new to Michelle. But, if you’ve earned some money from that side hustle, I’d definitely give it a shot. Thanks for this another way to make extra income.

I’ve used Fiverr to get things done like my logo and some really fun gifts, but it’s hard to imagine what I’d do for $5. I think the answering questions is brilliant- because it’s something you do anyway but definitely takes time and energy.

This sounds really intriguing. I’m brainstorming side hustle ideas, and Fiverr seems like a possibility. I like the fact that you can add more expensive services over the $5 base. I am definitely going to check this out!
