Here on Making Sense of Cents, I am all about managing your financial situation to the best of your ability. I am all about being frugal, but also enjoying the money that you have.
Everyone has their own splurges, and for me I would like my next house to be a nice one.
Not one that will bust my budget, but one that will fit into my budget and have everything that I would like it to have. Since I work from home, I like to be comfortable as much of my inspiration comes while I am sitting at home.
Just because this is a personal finance blog does not mean that you can't have a little luxury in your life. You can still enjoy life, spend the money that you earn, as long as everything is done realistically and you are still saving for retirement and other important areas in life. It's all about not going into debt that you can't afford.
Below are four reasons to buy a luxury property.
1. You want to be comfortable.
One big reason for why a person would want a luxury home is the fact that they usually provide a higher level of comfort because they may have more amenities. You may want a private office, a nice and relaxing pool, a sauna, an in-home gym, or something else.
2. It can be a vacation in itself.
For me, I am a big homebody. While I love to go on vacations and travel to new places, I also like coming home every now and then. If your home has everything that you need, then it can be a vacation in itself to be at home.
There are many luxury homes in Fort Lauderdale that meet all the requirements to be both fun and cozy. You may never want to ever leave your home!
3. A luxury home may bring you happiness.
If you buy a luxury home that is within your budget and you can actually afford it, then the comfort, amenities, and everything else may bring you happiness.
You may actually be happier to be at home which can then impact other areas in your life in a positive way. Everyone wants that, right?! 🙂
4. You may even be able to earn some money from it.
Lastly, with a luxury home you may even be able to earn some money from it. If there are ever times that you are not there, you may even want to see if there are possible short-term renters who may be interested in making a vacation out of it.
Would you ever buy a luxury property? Why or why not?
