Finding a job can be a hard process, but it is not impossible. With some effort (or a lot), you may be able to find the job of your dreams.
Here are my tips to find a job:
Brush up your resume.
The very first think you need to do when you are starting your job search process is that you need to brush up your resume.
When was the last time you looked at your resume? I am sure it was probably the last time when you looked for a job, which was probably a long time ago. It could have even have been decades ago!
You should update your resume immediately so that your past position's duties are still very fresh in your mind. This way you won't forget about any amazing accomplishments that you had at your previous job.
Trust me, this tip is very important and it is something that you will definitely want to do.
Find the best jobs you are suited for.
There are many great jobs out there. You just have to look. Whether you are looking for jobs in Australia, jobs on an island, or wherever else your heart desires, they are out there. You just need to do your research and find a job that you think you will like.
Another key is to look for jobs that you are actually suited for. Don't apply for things that are asking that you have a certification when you don't even know anything about the field. Unless you actually think you are suited for the job, you can actually just be making the hiring manager mad that you wasted their time, and they may remember this in the future if you try to apply at their company again when you actually are suited for a position there.
Get a degree, certification, license, etc.
For some jobs, you might need more education than what you already have. This is normal, especially if you are searching for your dream job. If this is your case, then I recommend that you have exactly what the job is looking for. It may take a few years for you to be ready for the job, but that is only normal, especially for a dream job.
