I recently went to Las Vegas, and it was a great time! I've been a few times in just the past few years, and I also went a few times when I was younger (Circus, Circus anyone?). The past two times though, I have stayed at the Flamingo. No, it's not the most beautiful hotel on the Strip, but it is right in the middle and it has one of the best pools (if not the best pool) on the Strip that it beautiful and has a great atmosphere. Also, the price at the Flamingo is almost always great. If you stalk the hotel's daily rates enough, you may be able to find a great deal. I know we did, and we did last time as well. I believe the total this time was $580 (including all taxes, resort fees, etc.) for 4 days/3 nights and 2 hotel rooms. If that's not a good deal, then I don't know what is! We spent nearly every single day at the Flamingo pool, except for the first day. The first day we mainly went to the store to stock up on the trip and we relaxed so that we would be prepared for that night to go out. We went to the pool on the second and third day though and ate all of our meals there and just relaxed. It was probably one of the best parts of the whole trip! We went to Surrender Night Club that night, and it was fun. I ended up leaving early (I know, I'm a horrible bachelorette!) because I was feeling really sick. I think I had the stomach flu the whole trip though, which stunk but for the most part I tried to get over it and have fun. The other nights we went to Tao and the club ended up giving us a ton of things for free (free table, bottles, security, and everything!) since we were pretty much the only bachelorette party in there. The third night we walked the Strip and went to Thunder From Down Under. I unfortunately didn't play any slots with jackpots on my recent trip to Las Vegas. I really wanted to, but time just went by so quickly that I just forgot. Who just forgets to do the top thing when they are in Las Vegas? Haha maybe next time 🙂 If you've been to Vegas before, what did you like about the city?
