Relocating is a pain at the best of times but often when you are moving house stakes are high because you're moving for a reason and often this is due to a massive life change. Perhaps you are moving in with a partner sharing with a friend or moving to be close to family. Or maybe you are changing jobs or even careers? Perhaps you're going the whole hog and setting up your own business and need to downsize to save money or upgrade to incorporate business premises?
Whatever the reason, sometimes it can be essential to get a quick sale on your property, so what can you do to save time and money?
To get a quick sale on your house it is worth considering agencies such as House Buyer Bureau that buy properties outright for cash. If you get in touch via the website they can give you a quote in just sixty seconds which is most definitely quicker than most other quotations.
As well as being quick to quote these cash buying agencies can often complete in just seven days meaning no lengthy drawn out legal processes or going back and forth with another party involved. This is probably days if not weeks saved with this one tip!
If money is not an issue then it is worth paying a removal company to come and pack up at one end, load up the moving van and unload at the other end.
Most companies will put the boxes in the right rooms for no additional costs and some even offer an unpacking service as well. Although it is only advisable to pay for this if you know exactly where everything is going to be in your new place. Oh and maybe hide your smalls to save everyone from embarrassment!
It is possible to relocate on a budget, it is all about thinking a bit creatively and making do with what you can get for free or incredibly cheaply. So instead of buying cardboard boxes specially ask around friends who have recently moved or stake out your local supermarket on delivery day.
If you can't afford a removal firm then perhaps you can make your own with good friends and the promise of a pizza and beer at the end of a hard day.
Just remember that where there's a will there's a way and it doesn't have to cost the earth. Happy moving!
