Clydesdale Bank and the company Scotland Food & Drink recently publicly announced that they have entered into a powerful, valuable and strategic collaboration which was created to help grow the food and drink sector in Scotland by having the two companies partner together. The Bank has been helpful with its clydesdale bank loan and also helps companies such as Scotland Food & Drink as well. This partnership between Clydesdale Bank and Scotland Food & Drink was expected to be beneficial for both companies in strengthening their market share by sharing expertise.
The collaboration between Clydesdale Bank and Scotland Food & Drink was announced to the public during a visit to Clyde Valley Tomatoes. Clyde Valley Tomatoes is a business banking customer of Clydesdale Bank and also a member of the company Scotland Food & Drink. In November of 2012, the company Clyde Valley Tomatoes signed a funding arrangement with Clydesdale Bank which was expected to help Clyde Valley Tomatoes to grow 140 tons of tomatoes in a year in a designated facility.
The company Scotland Food & Drink is working to grow the value and reputation of the industry in which it takes part in, and Clydesdale Bank is there to help underpin this work with the company. Clydesdale Bank is contributing to increasing the value and reputation of Scotland Food & Drink through the support it offers businesses.
The collaboration between Clydesdale Bank and Scotland Food & Drink is a shared knowledge and value approach with a sharing of things such as facilities and programs. Clydesdale Bank will also support certain Scotland Food & Drink events in the year of 2013. There are many events planned, such as the Scotland Food & Drink Annual Conference in March of 2013 and the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards in May of 2013, among other events which are also planned for the year.
With Scotland Food & Drink having such a valuable partnership with Clydesdale Bank, it allows the company to have valuable access to financial services with Clydesdale Bank. Clydesdale Bank’s economic expertise and knowledge adds value to the organization’s over three hundred members. Clydesdale Bank shares Scotland Food & Drink's belief that there is tremendous growth potential to be made in the food and drink sector in Scotland, and Clydesdale Bank is there to help with their knowledge that they have.
