Union Bank unveiled a new system called Banking By Design last month, which is a new way of banking that allows its customers to create checking accounts which fit their needs better.
The Banking By Design system switches up the traditional checking account and offers a wider range of optional features, which its customers can pick and choose. You can see this in the picture below.
Also, unlike with other banks, you can clearly see the costs of each item that you choose, so that there are no surprises. It’s an interesting new way to bank because you can cater your banking to your individual needs.
The base cost of the banking system is $3 per month, but it can easily be waived if the customer makes one direct deposit of $250 or more each statement period. so that is pretty easy.
Then make your account personal by choosing from lots of valuable features—some at no additional cost, others for as little as $1 a month. Your account can be opened with a minimum deposit of $100. A balance larger than zero is required to maintain the account. So that is pretty easy as well and should be of no problem.
If you want to create your own account, you can either go online at bankingbydesign.com, and after customizing it, you can call or visit a Union Bank branch to open the account officially. Another way is to directly go to the bank branch and get the support from a personal banker just in case is you have any questions.
Also, they currently have a contest called Commercial by Design. I made one and you should check it out also! You can do the same if you would like, just go to the website.
