Happy Monday 🙂 Hope you all had a great weekend!

It was a pretty packed weekend for me, I feel like I need a vacation after this weekend. I did a bunch of cleaning and errands stuff. Also went to Oktoberfest on Saturday night (woohoo!) and on Sunday did a bunch of bridal things and went to a bridal show.

Anyone loving baseball a whole ton right now? The Cardinals had some great games this past week/weekend! Hoping that we win against the Giants (sorry to any Giants fans 😛 )

What’s everyone being for Halloween? The boy and I thought it would be funny if he went as Peyton Manning and I went as a cheerleader. A little dorky, but a ton of people call him Peyton (as a joke because they look so much alike) and a lot of strangers will go up to him and point it out as well. I think the boy is MUCH better looking than Peyton but oh well 🙂

My updates:

Spending: We did spend a lot in the past week. We decided that with all of the extra income in the past couple of weeks, that we would reward ourselves. I got a trim (my hair was looking unhealthy), bought some clothes and spent a decent amount of money at Oktoberfest (beers STARTED at $12).

I spent around $75 on clothes.  I looked for more and was determined to spend over $200, but I couldn’t find anything else. The boy bought a new pair of Sperry’s and a Cardinals Postseason hoodie 🙂

Extra Monthly Income (this is on top of my salary from my job): Yet another great week for extra income. I made around $800 in extra income last week. WOOHOO! How much did you make last week?

I also threw around $550 towards my student loan payments last week as well. All of it came from my extra income from last week.

Food: We’re doing better with this. Our goal is to eat in for Monday through Thursday of this week. We will of course aim to eat in the whole week, but we will be extremely happy with eating in at least 4 days of the week.

Being healthy: Still not doing the greatest. I know these are just excuses, but I feel like I have absolutely no time! Between it being the busy time at work, planning bridal stuff for my friend, and trying to spend more time with the boy, my sister, my dogs and my friends, I’m just finding no time. I need to work on this and I do realize that.

How’s your spending, working out and extra income going?

Well we closed on the house on Friday so working on the house has been our "work out" time (though I know it's not as good as going to the gym!). Extra income I have had little time for with the whole getting ready to move and now putting in a ton of time prepping the house and the apartment for the move.

Congrats on making another $800 last week! I also like your costume ideas, I'd say go for it.

Cardinals! WOOT! They had me worried for a bit last night, but I'm so glad they were able to hold on.

My sister was in town this weekend, so my dining out budget got away from me. To negate costs, I made a large pot of veggie soup for cheap and will be eating off that all week – I can't do this every week because it gets super-old super-fast, but making a pot every other week helps me be healthy and keeps food costs down.

Congrats on the big SL payment!

Great work again on the side income and even better throwing so much at your student loan debt! I can totally relate on the working out. 🙁 There is just so much time in the day and I generally prefer the little bit of sleep I get. It all comes down to just scheduling it for me. I need to get better at doing that and then actually following through.

We are doing pretty good this month after two not so great months in a row (August, September). I got a surprise check for almost $200 from my mortgage company on Saturday. Woot!!!

We have wine fest instead of Octoberfest in France, and that is a reason to go out and drink CHEAP wine, those $12 pints are crazy expensive!

The boy looks like Peyton now thats one I would like to see. I was thinking of being Bane and my son the Joker. But the cost of costumes got us down so I have resorted to just passing out candy. Nice job with the $800 in extra cash. My family budget is doing great. The plans are to start maxing out both of our 401k starting 2013. Eating out does get costly and some times fattening.

I love the costume idea! You can never go wrong with Peyton Manning. Jealous of your clothes shopping! It seems that every dime we have is going towards friends wedding but that is the way we like it. I have been browsing a few of your articles and love them! Great blog and niche 🙂

Great job on earning $800 from your extra income! I did not spend much last week, I just bought two shirts for the office and went grocery shopping. I also earned a few hundred bucks from my online job, which we used for our grocery expense. I have also spent at least an hour per day in the gym from Monday to Friday and rested during the weekend.
