We have been doing extremely well since I made my food challenge post! We haven’t ate out at all (except for some quick & cheap snacks before class and while on the go). BUT I have made dinner EVERY NIGHT!
I’ve spent only $42 on food ever since I made my challenge. We’ve been eating the things that we already have in the fridge and it’s been going great. Did anyone join the food challenge with me? How’s it going for you?
Another good thing is that I’m not even sick of eating at home yet! Thanks to eating at home, I will most likely have around $500 extra in my budgeted cash flow for the month, which is great as well. I can apply that towards something (like student loans most likely).
Here’s what I plan on making as our main course for each dinner:
- Monday – BBQ Chicken
- Tuesday – Steak
- Thursday – Stuffed Chicken
- Friday – Chimichangas
- Saturday – Chili
- Sunday – Kabobs
