Meal planning is going good! We’re finally starting to reign in our grocery spending. Like others have said, we had to buy some things for our pantry to stock up, etc, but now we’re good!

Here’s what I plan on making as our main course for each dinner:

  • Monday – Chicken Tamale Pie
  • Tuesday – Lasagna
  • Wednesday – Chicken Teriyaki
  • Thursday – Steak
  • Friday – Fajitas with Mango Pineapple Salsa
  • Saturday – Out for dinner
  • Sunday – Out for dinner

What’s on your meal plan? How’s meal planning going for you?

Yummo! We plan our meals also, and it definitely saves us a bundle. Mondays and Wednesdays, our boys have swimming so I make small, quick meals. Tonight, turkey burgers with peppers and veggies on the side. Easy peasy 🙂

Meal planning is going great! We just finished eating one of the meals I planned for this week. We usually make most of what we plan, except maybe not in the same order we write it down as. It sure has help keep us close to what our grocery budget is!

A wonky appetite means that my meal planning is moot… thus, bringing my grocery bill up wayyy higher than normal :(. I can't wait until everything gets back to normal.

I really need to be better about meal planning. I buy the food but then somehow it never makes it into a cohesive meal.
