Meal planning is still going good for us! I don’t have to much this week, just bread and milk because I did way too much grocery shopping last week.

Here’s what I plan on making as our main course for each dinner:

  • Monday – Lemon Chicken – this is pretty much a weekly staple in our house. I’m getting sick of it, but the BF still loves it.
  • Tuesday – Pizza – I’m really loving making different pizza! BBQ chicken maybe?
  • Wednesday – Teriyaki Chicken – another staple in our house
  • Thursday – White Chicken Lasagna or Florentine Lasagna
  • Friday – Out for dinner
  • Saturday – Spaghetti – The BF hates spaghetti, but I LOVE it.

What’s on your menu? I’m always looking for ideas!

I’m also hoping to make this!

Update: A lot of you e-mailed me for the directions for the Lemon Chicken! It’s pretty simple. I just make it from the top of my head, but I found a similar recipe here. It’s tasty!

P.S. I have a guest post over at From Shopping to Saving. Check it out!

Hey M! Sorry about the wrong linkage. I changed it just now and also checked my blogroll to see if I had the right link – I did! I had a brain fart when I posted this morning. All fixed up now, luckily I don't think anyone read it yet! 🙂

Yum your menu sounds great!! Also, what is the picture of that you want to make? It looks like flat cinnamon rolls. Do you use it as a pie crust? If so, with what kind of filling? Or do they pop up like cinnamon rolls when they are baked?

I'm always looking for ideas for dinner time. Rambo is super picky to whereas the only thing I won't eat is pretty much seafood.

I haven't done full meal planning in a while. My wife's and my schedules are just a little too up in the air to make firm plans more than, oh, an hour in the future. But the meals that are tentatively on the schedule include stuffed peppers, soup, cobb salad, grilled chicken, and, well, probably more soup. This time of year, when I get home after working 9 hours in the cold and my wife is at work, microwaving a can of soup is about as motivated as I get.

Mmmm….Hungry reading your post. 🙂 haha, I have been wanting to make a lasagna and I think I am ready to dive in. I picked so many pasta based meals this week to save money: spaghetti, gulash, tuna caserole, and alfedo. LOL– only spent $41 at the grocery store today, though!

I don't really plan my meals, since I often have leftovers that replace a meal. For this week, I think we'll have mashed potatoes with vegetables, maybe lasagna, some kind of mushroom-tandoori (which is actually chicken tandoori, but I replace the chicken with mushrooms).

Just found your blog! I've gotta say, those meals sound DELICIOUS. I've been trying to plan our meals as well, but sometimes I lose inspiration and the whole thing of having to find/follow new recipes when it's faster to just make something that I know how to make well and without a lot of thinking. But, I do love making different kinds of pizzas! BBQ chicken is my fave!Audrey <a href="http://www.puttingmetogether.com” target=”_blank”>www.puttingmetogether.com
