Well, last week I signed up for a credit card. I only have 1 other credit card, and it’s boring. There’s no rewards or anything. The new card I have gives me back $300 as a bonus and also 5% on select stuff and 1% back on everything else. So I think this is pretty decent.
I went grocery shopping on Wednesday (I think it was Wednesday, I can’t remember) and spent $81. I bought a lot of stuff. We have made dinner nearly every night this. I went and got sushi on Thursday and it was great! And yesterday we went to a Mexican restaurant, but that was cheap ($19).
Alsooooo, me and the BF went shopping yesterday. I needed some new work clothes since it’s getting colder. I bought a pair of Express slacks, LOFT sweater, AE sweater and a shirt from Target. The BF bought a pair of Nikes and that’s all he liked. We didn’t spend a ton but we still spent money on clothes (that we probably didn’t need) but oh well. We’ve been so frugal with trying to pay off my student loans, that I think we deserved it.
Ok so I finally decided about my MBA problems, that I talked about here and here. I’m just going to graduate in the Fall of 2012 and stick with my MBA with a Finance emphasis, instead of just a General MBA instead of taking the rest of the 6 classes next semester and graduating early. Thanks everyone for your help! I’m taking 4 classes next semester, and either one in the summer and one in the fall of 2012, or just take 2 classes in the Fall. So after this upcoming semester, my MBA will be a breeze!
Anything interesting happen with you! I hope your weekend is going well!
That wreath looks great!Glad you made your decision about your MBA! You sound at peace with it.Enjoy the new clothes, I always love wearing new stuff.Have a good rest of the weekend!
The wreath will be beautiful! 🙂 And great choice on what to do with your MBA!Happy weekend!
Love the wreath! You'll have to share a photo of the finished product!! 🙂 Glad you figured out your MBA! Onwards & upwards! 🙂
Glad you figured out your MBA choice. I like that wreath as well, it is very clean and neat looking.
You got the chase freedom card huh haha. I was about to get that but I decided to get the Sapphire Preferred since it has 2x amount of pts for travel + dining, no foreign transaction fees, and a 50,000 bonus sign up. the freedom card is pretty nifty too but i wanted more rewards for dining, year-round. Love Chase either way.
I love sleep, but hate it when I sleep the day away–such a dichotomy . Like my chase, southwest airlines card–had many a free flight =)
It's Crystal from Coffee at Nordstrom! We were gathering emails for the Holly Jolly Swap, and we don't have your email! Is there anyway you could email me at [email protected] so that I could have your email? Thank you so much! Have a great week!
I'll have to look into the Sapphire Preferred! I looked at it the other day but it only offered $250 in my area.
whoo! you go girl! get your MBA 🙂 that was my plan too! but i wanted to follow my heart and become a teacher. but by the time we both graduate, i'll probably be going back to business school after realizing liberal arts was a bust in this economy. well congrats! awesome plan 🙂 hope that you had a great weekend, dear! talk with you soon!xx jamie
Thanks Jamie! Good luck with your plans also! I'm also done with my MBA so it's a little too late to change haha
Everything sounds peachy which is good. I really thought you would have gone for the general but you know what you want and that is good. Glad you figured it out and I am finally caught up on all the post I missed on this blog. Yay!
