I think it looks alright. I wouldn't necessarily do the same on mine, but it's not like its offensive to look at or anything. All of your tabs are neatly organized at the top, which I like. If anything I think I may consider making the picture at the top a little shorter in height.

It looks great! I agree about the header, it's pretty big on my iPad, but doesn't really bother me at all, I just scroll a touch more to get to your post is all. 😉

I would prefer if I could read at least some of the article without having to scroll down, which isn't possible because of the large header and the picture at the top of the post. That's just my preference.I would recommend putting links to an archive or old posts, so that people like me who just found your blog could read through older articles without have to hit "older posts" however many times it would take to get to the beginning. (Unless you have links somewhere and I just can't find them.)

I do like the tabs, but I think the header is a bit on the large side (more specifically, the height). Perhaps you could cut it down to half the height or use palm trees as a faded background? I think the banner is great, dont get me wrong! But it is a tad large.

Thanks everyone I will be fixing it today because I thought it was a tad large also.

I read the blog in google reader so I'm not really sure of what it looked like before. The new layout looks good. I really like the clean and uncluttered look.

Michelle, I'm not talking about reading posts by tag/label, but chronologically. If I'm going to go through the archives (and I generally will sooner or later) I want to start at the beginning and go in order to get a better sense of the progress you've made and the overall narrative. Most blogs have an archive where you can view posts by month in addition to the labels.

I knew something felt different but I couldn't put my hands on it. I'm late on this post like all the other post I am behind in but the blog felt neater somehow. I can't quite remember how it was before but it does feel neater and the banner up top is nice. Reminds me of a getaway and the breeze looks really strong.
