I am constantly trying to save and pay off debt, but every now and then a “splurge” happens or is “needed.”  I just splurged on my vacation, and I’m going skydiving in a couple of weeks, so I’ll be splurging again.  Since I save so much, I always say in my head that these splurges are necessary in order for me to keep my sanity.

What are your splurges usually on?  Do you ever feel bad about them?

Clothes for the most part… we really should add that into our budgets…

I was splurging on tanning, and I felt horrible about it. I just stopped, just like you Michelle!

I’ve splurged on slot machines when we go somewhere that there is a casino- and not often we come ahead so we’re learning and not spending as much either. We also love to travel and have splurged on an RV but are making cut backs elsewhere. Sold a skidoo and now plan on selling the truck and getting something less expensive for payments so we can get something smaller and be paid off sooner.
