$50 Target Gift Card Giveaway

Hello everyone and happy Friday! To start the weekend off right, I have an easy and quick giveaway for all of you.

I was recently contacted by Gift Card Rescue who said that they wanted to host a giveaway on my site. Since I can’t say no to a giveaway and I know that people love Target, I figured this would be fun!

What’s great about Gift Card Rescue is that you can buy gift cards at a discount and you can also make money by selling your unwanted gift cards to them as well. [Read more…]

Novica Giveaway

Novica Giveaway

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday. I just ordered the awesome serving plate to the left thanks to Novica. I love the colors and the detail in it, and I know it will look great on my dining room table.

I received an email from them recently asking if I wanted to give away $40 to their awesome website, so why not? I’ve ordered 3 other items from them as well, and have never been upset.

For today’s giveaway, all I ask is that you head on over to my Facebook page and comment on the post that is related to this giveaway. Easy as that! I will then use Random.org to choose the winner from the Facebook comments on Wednesday, May 8th.

Also, if you haven’t yet, be sure to check out my $7,859 in April Extra Income and Goals post.

Saturday and a $1,149 DSLR Camera Giveaway

Happy Saturday everyone! This past week definitely flew by. I guess that’s what happens when you are extremely busy. I don’t really have anything planned for the weekend (at least nothing that I can think of) except for lots of blog and planning for me and my friend’s new business.

If you have any tips on starting a new business, and also starting a new business with a partner, then throw them at me. I have a couple of blog posts in the works about that, but of course it always takes me forever to actually get around to that.

Also on Monday I will have my February extra income and goals update, so be sure to check that out. Every month, my monthly extra income update always seems to be very popular. Is there anything specific that you would like to see in my monthly extra income posts? I want to be as helpful as I can!

Saturday… and a $400 Giveaway

Happy Saturday everyone! If you were lucky/unlucky enough to be hit by the snowstorm, then this could possibly be the third day of your long, unexpected weekend. I had Thursday off, but the roads were fine where I live so I went to work on Friday.

I have a full weekend. Yesterday, our close friends got married and had a lunch reception (which we missed because the wedding was planned last second). After both W and I got out of work we went out to celebrate. The celebrations continue tonight as well. I’m SUPER excited to go out with a big group because feels like it’s been forever (it actually hasn’t but oh well). We plan on giving them their gift today and I need to put that together still. Thanks everyone for your suggestions on Twitter yesterday :)

However, before that, me and my friend are having a little business meeting to talk about the business that we plan on opening soon. I can’t wait until I can officially tell everyone what this new business is. Some of you already know since you guessed correctly last week :) Hopefully it goes well!

Posts from my blog:

  1. $823 in Extra Income and Life Updates – Extra income was slightly down last week, but I’m still happy with it.

Saving Money on Food and a GIVEAWAY

I love sushi, but it’s just too expensive!

It’s no secret that I’m really trying to save as much money as I can so that I can pay off my student loans as quickly as possible.

The thought of still having them in the summer time would make me sad (and a little mad), so I’m trying as hard as I can to keep with the goal of having them gone by March or April of this year.

On a side note, Sharon over at Midlife Mom Musings switched from Blogger to WP and wants you all to follow her on over there. I know what it was like when I switched from Blogger to WP, and I hated losing so many readers because they couldn’t find my link. I thought I’d make it a little easier for her :) And if you haven’t yet, please read my post about how to start a blog!

Anyways, my $38,000 Student Loan Payoff Plan is going well and I’ve already knocked out a big chunk. The other day I also completely knocked out a private student loan that I’ve had since 2007 that was almost up to $6,000!

I’ve been ramping up the ways that I make extra income and this has helped me a lot with paying down my student loan debt. I’m all about increasing my income!

However, even with all of our increases in extra income, we have been spending way too much on food. I know that if we didn’t eat out so much, then we would be saving even more.
